since the release of her debut album Little Thunder, Silver has released a number of songs, toured extensively throughout North America with Gary Clark Jr., opened for Andrew W. K., shared the stage with Carlos Santana, made her debut in the U.K. where Phoenix Magazine named her a “female pioneer smashing glass ceilings… torching patriarchal rock,” and most recently performed with Gwen Stefani for NBC’s New Year’s Eve special, as well as NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”

Violence is the 3rd single off Silver’s upcoming EP ‘Hostage of Love’. On this EP, Silver channels an anguished Motown girl-group leader under the spell of a lover who comes and goes like ocean waves.” Although Violence has a funky, upbeat sound, this song is actually about domestic violence, which is an issue Silver feels very strongly about. She intends to donate a portion of the proceeds of this song in support of this cause.”
